Bears QB Cutler to start vs. Packers

Chicago Bears coach Marc Trestman made it clear after Sunday night's game that Jay Cutler will start the regular-season finale against the Green Bay Packers.

Trestman said "no question there" that Cutler will start over Josh McCown as the winner of next Sunday's game claims the NFC North title.

Cutler was sacked five times during the Bears' 54-11 blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Trestman pulled Cutler in favor of McCown late in the game, but only because it got out of hand due to pass protection.

"We lost the line of scrimmage," Trestman said. "We didn't do as good a job as obviously we've done at protecting Jay. He got hit probably more in this game than he's been hit at any time during the season."

Cutler is a free agent at the end of the season. In 10 games this year, he has thrown for 2,395 yards with 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while completing 63.1 percent of his passes. He missed five games due to injuries.

McCown has 1,829 yards passing with 13 touchdowns, one interception and has completed 66.5 percent of his passes in eight games (five starts) this season.
