Andre Johnson won't attend voluntary OTAs

National Football Post

Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson has long been a consistent piece to the organization's offense.

But could that be coming to an end? With the Texans in the midst of rebuiling — again — Johnson, speaking to the Houston Chronicle, doesn't seem happy with the way the organization is heading under new coach Bill O'Brien.

“Is this still the place for me?” Johnson said, according to the newspaper.

Johnson also told the newspaper that he won't be attending upcoming voluntary organized team activities.

Given the Texans' draft, which was highly regarded by analysts and experts everywhere, it's a somewhat of a surprise to hear that Johnson is unhappy with the situation in Houston. Any time a team is coming off of a 2-14 season, there will be some rebuilding going on.

But then again, Johnson could be upset with the fact the organization only added a few parts to the offense instead of adding a franchise-caliber quarterback. As of now, the 2014 starter will be one of Ryan Fitzpatrick, Case Keenum, T.J. Yates or Tom Savage.
