TIPS OF THE CAP

Ohio State. I had no idea the Buckeyes could come out with an offense like they did against Michigan. I thought the Wolverine offense would be the one that exploded.

Ted Ginn Jr. is a tremendous, tremendous talent and proved just how explosive he is. And Troy Smith at quarterback did a heck of a job. We can only wonder about the season that the Buckeyes would have enjoyed had he been the guy all year. That performance was outstanding and earned Smith the award for the surprise player of the weekend.

Florida and Ron Zook. Great win at the newly titled "Bobby Bowden Field" at Doak Campbell Stadium. Coach Zook and the Gators showed tremendous focus and overcame all the adversity.

Iowa. The Hawkeye defense once again came up with big turnovers to beat Wisconsin and earn a share of the Big Ten title.
