Ball Don't Lie - NBA

North Carolina men's basketball program began its centennial season celebrations on Friday, drawing a sellout crowd to watch the UNC Alumni Game that featured ex-Tar Heels like Vince Carter(notes), Antawn Jamison(notes), Raymond Felton(notes) and Jerry Stackhouse(notes). The night also honored last season's NCAA title-winning team and Michael Jordan for his forthcoming induction into the Naismith Hall of Fame, but, unsurprisingly, the biggest "oohs" and "aahs" were reserved for VC's crazy hops. He's still got it.

Top 5? VC is THE greatest dunker of all time period. Nobody has done what VC has whether the dunks were in game or competition.

I always liked Vince Carter. I just always thought he was a bit too fragile, just like his cousin T-Mac. I'm more partial to Paul Pierce. But hell I'm a Celtics fan. LoL

now i see why he declines to dunk in the nba...he was barely off the ground for those dunks when the ball finally went in the hoop.....i mean he can still dunk but the surgery unfortunately has kept air vc flashbacks grounded in toronto

Kobe and LeBron don't belong in no dunk contest... Vince is the Greatest dunker of all time.. there are no comparison... not even Jordan and Nique... Carter is a combo of both of those guys... he flys higher than Mike and he finishes as strong as Dominique... some of his ingame dunks are better than theirs.. now putting LeBron who has about two dunks as well as Kobe he has way more than two dunks, but well out of his prime is just stupid... LeBron is a down grade from Josh Smith, whether the world wants to admit it or not... I can randomly name three dunkers who would kill LeBron in a dunk contest. Vince, Josh Smith, Nate Robinson, Jason Richardson, Jamario Moon, Gerald Green, an injured T-Mac, and probably even D-Wade.... There is nothing creative about LeBron's dunks as all... Okay, he gets up pretty High... but so does Josh Smith, only it looks more unique because he is left handed... and also Andre Ig.... LeBron if not just an overrated player by the media, he is a farmore overrated dunker...

Okay, lets put it this way, any dunk that LeBron can of a run and jump off of 1 leg, Dwight Howard can do off of a drop step... and Dwight is about an inch and a half taller... Anyone care to debate this?? LOL! I can't believe the world made a big deal out of that hand behind the head dunk that Karl Malone did and got no recognition for.. LOL!! Tyrus Thomas would be a better dunker... the only thing that would make Lebron's entrance interesting is the hype behind his name.. You go on You Tube and you see people who actually believe that Bron can Compete against Vince!! LOL! But it's funny because Kobe already told the world that Vince is in a world of his own... Vince, Jordan, Nique... in that order.... and then maybe 5 to 7 other guys, and then LeBron... LeBron is no longer the best dunker on his team with the addition of Jamario Moon...

man, why did Orlando get this guy? He's got absolutely no hops left, and has no athlethism left at all. Orlando is so dumb.(sarcasm)
Vince is the best dunker in NBA History. He just does it with ease and it's so smooth.

VC can still fly, but he always seems to be very careful how he lands, like possibly there is some sort of instability going on.
People think he's mentally soft, but I don't buy it, he's got some lingering problem the doctors never fixed right.
