This month's issue of Men's Journal has an interview with Suns' center Shaquille O'Neal, and as tends to be the case with most things featuring The Big Twitter, it's ridiculously funny. This particular quote, via Fanster, had me in tears while I searched the BDL archives for the Photoshop above.
Q: What would you do with a time machine?
A: Go to the cloning era, clone myself 20 times, and put myself in America as 20 different people. One Shaq would be a banker. One Shaq would be a sheriff. One Shaq would be a race car driver. One Shaq would be a prince. One Shaq would be Spanish. We'd all be here at the same time, and every once in a while I'd meet myself.
Yep. Multiplicity 2, starring Shaquille O'Neal — coming to a theater near you soon!
Anyway, the Arizona Republic has more Shaq snippets of brilliance, which I highly recommend you check out. His answer to the question about what song he listens to at least once a week was especially enlightening.

Holy crap, no wonder he's 52% from the line.

I remember when he was down here in Miami, always use to do prank calls and stuff to the radios like Zeta FM.
Miss you Shaq! Not your basketball style, though, that began to suck lol.

But the stats hes putting right now on his age?hes still bad..a treat & a headache to some other teams.

I am always amazed at how much haters there are in these forums, but recently it just seems as if though people just don't know their basketball well enough to even comment on any post whatsoever!!!!!
My goodness guys, you embarrass the rest of us who follow the game because of the "love" not because
you want to be a "fanboy bandwagon jumper i need a sport to feel manly because my girl would leave me in a minute if i don't" kinda guy.
Be real! Shaquille gave us more than a decade worth or "real" basketball and we owe the guy his due respect!
he is a champion, he is an MVP, he is an all star, he is a gold medal winner, he is a rookie of the year, and he is a finals MVP as well three times over! He is simply the last real center we will ever see for a very long time.
Does hating on him make you feel any better than him?.....when we are all 80 yrs old, we still would never even accomplish a quarter of the stuff he has in just 15 years.....somebody give me one center he never railed one down on?...give me one!!!!!..Shaq sent them ALL running! he got more posters than 13 year old Brittney Spear fan! ...Shaq was so dominating and so powerful, he made 7foot 250lb grown professional athletes take frequent naps on the hardwood after he railed one down on them so hard.
I cannot begin to tell you how retarded you all sound making comments about his dominance or his character...he was the most dominating force the NBA has ever witnessed, DEAL WITH IT! he is good for the league, he was the biggest showman the league has ever known and one of the most giving too.
Sure he never put up Wilt type stats but Wilt is Wilt....Nuff said!....he deserves at least some kind of respect, dont rag on the guy like your better than him, because at his worse hes even better than you, cause your sitting at home watching the game, and hes on the hardwood playing the game.
