Conference semifinals are aggregate-goal format. The best-seeded remaining teams will host the single-game conference finals.

If the teams are tied after both conference-semifinal legs or after regulation of the conference finals or MLS Cup, two 15-minute periods of extra time will be played. If the teams remain tied, penalty kicks will determine the winner.
