Match Preview: D.C. United @ Atlanta United FC May 11, 2024

After sharing points with Philadelphia at home last weekend, D.C. United find themselves bunched together in the Eastern Conference table with the Union, NYCFC, and Charlotte FC who all currently sit even on 14 points. Christian Dájome scored his first goal of the 2024 MLS Season, and rookie Jacob Murrell scored the first goal of his MLS career with a well-placed strike. The play on the field was promising too with D.C. United controlling much of the match only to see the score level up thanks to an incredible strike from the Union's Jack McGlynn late in the match. This weekend, the Black-and-Red travel to Atlanta to face off against The-Five-Stripes who sit just below D.C. in the league table.
