Ceddanne Rafaela's defensive prowess makes him the choice to be the Red Sox' starting shortstop
“We've been able to slow down the game [with Rafaela at short],” manager Alex Cora said prior to the Sox' 6-4 loss to the Guardians. Rafaela, who started 16 games in center field, enhanced the outfield, too. Jarren Duran has improved as a center fielder and is capable of commanding the position. Plus, the move for Rafaela isn't a daunting one since he initially signed as an infielder.
