Friedl, Montas activated for Reds ahead of series opener against Arizona

In the midst of a five-game losing streak, the Cincinnati Reds are getting reinforcements to their lineup. Tuesday afternoon, the Reds announced outfielder TJ Friedl and right-handed starter Frankie Montas are re-joining the club from the injured list. Friedl has been on the injured list since the beginning of a season, suffering a wrist injury in spring training. Montas has been re-instated after missing time due to taking a line drive off his forearm against the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday, April 21.
