Leafs interested in bringing back Domi and Bertuzzi next season: report

Finishing their season with another disappointing first-round exit, the Toronto Maple Leafs have already begun making big changes. According to a new report from Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic, forwards Max Domi and Tyler Bertuzzi, both of whom are on expiring deals, have expressed their desire to return to the team in the fall. “There's mutual interest in Bertuzzi returning to the Leafs, but the team is juggling a few things so it's not clear if it gets done,” LeBrun wrote. Bertuzzi's agent Todd Reynolds also confirmed that Toronto management is interested in re-signing the 29-year-old, who came on as a free agent last summer.
