Lions bringing back safety C.J. Moore after year-long suspension

A little more than two weeks after the league lifted his suspension for violating its gambling policy, the Detroit Lions are re-signing safety and special-teams standout C.J. Moore, a source familiar with the agreement confirmed. Moore has spent nearly all of his professional career with the Lions, initially signing with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2019. "That was hard for us at the end of camp to do what we felt like we had to do just for the roster," Lions coach Dan Campbell said about cutting Moore.
