FC Barcelona midfielder Pedri is no longer an "untouchable" player at the club, which has already put a price on him that it would accept from an interested party according to El Nacional citing anonymous sources. Pedri broke through to Ronald Koeman's first team in the 2020/2021 season that followed the pandemic, and appeared to be one of the main pillars of Barca's long-term future. Since then, the 21-year-old has failed to feature in more than 50% of Barca's games in a campaign, in a development that has forced the club to learn its lesson and ask the Spanish Football Federation not to also burn out teen sensations Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi.
