Michael Jordan’s custom golf cart

Bubba Watson's "hovercart" made waves around the golf world when video surfaced of the unique transportation last week. The reigning Masters champion's custom golf cart/hovercraft hybrid was a big hit on YouTube and various websites. Now with the sport's focus placed squarely on Augusta National this weekend, we turn our attention to Michael Jordan’s ride around the links.

MJ’s custom wheels are a vision in blue. Tar Heel blue, that is. The UNC-themed cart also features the Jordan brand Jumpman logo on the front. Other special accessories include tricked out rims, embroidered seats, a sunroof and a pair of speakers.

No word on whether or not Jordan will use the cart during his upcoming nuptials. The former NBA great is reportedly getting hitched to longtime girlfriend Yvette Prieto April 27 in Florida.

Moving to a city Jordan had one of his most memorable games in, Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 47 points in a 113-106 Lakers victory over the Trail Blazers in Portland. Bryant’s output was a Rose Garden-record for an opponent and moved L.A. a full game in front of Utah for the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot.

Finally in baseball, the Red Sox sellout streak ended. Boston had gone 820 straight regular and postseason games filling up Fenway until Wednesday, a string that went back to May 15, 2003. It was the longest such streak in major pro sports history.
