Mad King - Fantasy owners, we've got a Giant problem.

For fantasy owners, all we’re looking for is a little consistency. It may not be possible with the parity in the NFL these days, but it sure would make our jobs easier.

One of the more recognizable NFL franchises is the New York Giants. And for that reason, fantasy owners—like myself -- draft the well-known names. Sure, they aren’t the most high-powered offense, but we love the Salsa dancing, the upstart tight ends and Peyton’s little brother. But this group, unfortunately, is the King of fantasy flip-flops and it stinks.

Yes, it makes us feel good to support a guy in the shadow like Eli. Manning’s showing on Sunday night is a credit to the Philadelphia defense, but a huge fantasy letdown after 19 or more points for four straight weeks.

Larry Donnell was the hot pickup of the season after a fiery start in Detroit. Since his three-touchdown effort in Week 4, though, one catch for six yards over two games. How am I supposed to plug him into my lineup? (Next week, though, he’ll probably find the end zone twice… )

Finally, as a fantasy owner, it’s terrifying when your Week 6 matchup comes down to a place kicker on Sunday night. But it happens sometimes. I entered the Philly-New York primetime game trailing by just one. ONE POINT.  Josh Brown has been relatively consistent the past three weeks. In each of the Giants’ wins, he’s amassed nine points or more. Sunday night, however, he didn’t see the field, except for the opening kickoff. No points. And this fantasy owner loses by one.

It’s a conundrum that cannot be explained, but, please, let’s iron out a little consistency, G-men. It would be greatly appreciated by fantasy owners … like myself.
