Venus and Serena's mom takes an unprompted shot at Fed Cup
Like mother, like daughters.
Earlier this week on her Twitter account, Oracene Williams took an unprompted shot at the Federation Cup:
I'm having fun. The SUN in my life is bright. Thing about attending the boring Fed Cup in San Diego
That comment didn't go over too well with some people on Twitter and Oracene was soon defending herself from people who criticized her for having "no class":
@EmmiHaddock Like I said before and I will say it again. Its boring. That's my opinion. Is that clear, or shall I repeat it?
That Tweet was clear. The first one wasn't, as I have no clue what "thing about attending the boring Fed Cup in San Diego" means. That's neither a sentence, nor a coherent thought.
Oracene is entitled to her opinion and I'm entitled to mine. Her insult of the Fed Cup was unnecessary, classless and bullying. It's picking on the unpopular kid at school. It wasn't like she was asked about her views of the Fed Cup or had someone tell her how great it was and felt the need to rebut. She decided to take an unwarranted shot at the event simply because both her daughters aren't playing.
