Yeovil Town parody royal golden easel birth announcement for new signing

Following the birth of the Prince of Cambridge on Monday, the official written notice of a tiny human emerging from the body of a larger human was framed and placed on a golden easel outside Buckingham Palace. Because people who are interested in that type of thing just eat that stuff up. And because doing it on Twitter would've been far too classless.

Anyway, this gave newly promoted Championship side Yeovil Town an idea. So to announce the loan signing of Swansea defender Alan Tate, they photoshopped a golden easel announcement of their own. It read: "Yeovil Town Football Club was safely delivered of a loan defender at 1pm today. Alan Tate from Swansea City has signed until 2 January 2014."

If anyone is deserving of the golden easel treatment, it's definitely Swansea defender Alan Tate.
