Xabi Alonso was giving Jose Mourinho FA Cup final updates in Granada

La Liga champions Real Madrid were in Granada on Saturday to play a match that was far more important to their relegation-threatened hosts than it was to them. Before the match, former Liverpool player Xabi Alonso's focus was on his phone as he tried to follow his old club's 2-1 FA Cup final loss to Chelsea.

When Andy Carroll scored to pull Liverpool within a goal in the second half, Xabi called out to his manager, former Chelsea gaffer Jose Mourinho, to let him know through a few words and a head nod that it was a game again. Mourinho inquired about the amount of time remaining, but didn't seem worried. Later on, Xabi probably told Mourinho that Liverpool won just to avoid getting an earful about how Chelsea won because of him.
