While certain Swiss Super League stadiums are overrun with bloodthirsty pine martens, Grasshopper Zurich are raising the bar for luxurious fan experiences.

During their 3-1 victory over St Gallen on Saturday, two lucky supporters watched the action from the comfort of a 97-degree hot tub, sipping beers as the cold masses around them wished they were half naked in a big wet box with Grasshoppers shirts crudely taped to the side of it.

The tubs — which were provided by club sponsor and bathroom supplier Duravit — were so close to the action that the fans were able to high five the players when they scored. (Sadly, none of the scorers chose to 'cannonball' during their celebrations.)

Grasshoppers are using the FC Zurich's Letzigrund stadium for games and hot-tubbing until their new home is ready in 2014. Presumably, when the new venue opens, at least one of the stands will be devoted entirely to jacuzzis.
