NAC Breda's Anthony Lurling put a little bit too much on a shot while warming up before his side's Eredivisie match against Utrecht and hit a fan in the back of the head. The ball sailed over the crossbar, curling hard and fast into the back of a man's head as he made his way up the stairs in the stand behind the goal. The confused man sat on the stairs and rubbed the back of his head after being knocked down, but didn't take long to get up and go back on his way.
It would prove to be the only victory for NAC on the day as Utrecht went on to win 3-0.
This has been the Dirty Tackle of the Day: a chronicling of unfortunate events.
