Mavs’ Vince Carter to miss another game

Dallas Mavericks shooting guard Vince Carter has missed two games with a sprained left foot, including Thursday's 94-91 victory over the Utah Jazz, and it isn't clear just yet when he will make his return.

What is clear, according to Mavs.com, is that the 34-year-old will miss the final game of the road trip on Saturday against the New Orleans Hornets. The 9-7 Mavs return home Monday against the Phoenix Suns.

In the 14 games Carter has played in, he's averaged 9.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. He was selected fifth overall pick in the 1998 draft out of North Carolina by the Golden State Warriors, but never played for the team. Since then, the eight-time All-Star has spent time with the Toronto Raptors (where he earned 1999's rookie of the year), New Jersey Nets, Orlando Magic, Suns, and Mavs.
