So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye
With the Olympics over, it is time for us to leave our spikes at the plate, our shoes on the mat, and say goodbye to all the fun that was Fourth-Place Medal. We have had a blast writing about the Beijing Olympics. Though we've returned to getting a full night's sleep, we already miss writing about shooting love stories, Olympic mysteries, wrestling gold, cheerleaders and Michael Phelps' briefs. We've picked up some favorites, like Bela, Leryn Franco and that Phelps guy. Mostly, we just tried to point out the highlights, lowlights and absurdities in the Beijing Olympics.
