Tyler Toffoli tucks in beautiful goal past Martin Jones (Video)

An offensive explosion occurred for the Los Angeles Kings in San Jose on Thursday night. For the first time all season the Kings scored more than two goals to blast the Sharks 4-1.

The goal that got the Kings on the board first in this game was the above beautiful score by Los Angeles forward Tyler Toffoli.

The whole time Toffoli stayed with the play, was cognizant of how Sharks goaltender Martin Jones tracked the puck, found the small opening near the net, and quickly switched from backhand to forehand. That's certainly not an easy play, and Toffoli made it look routine.

“It was just a good face off, (Alec Martinez) made a great play and I got a good little bounce off the net and tucked it in,” Toffoli said on the Kings broadcast between periods.

That’s now a team-high four goals for Toffoli. The Kings notched their third win in a row after starting the year 0-3-0. The game at the Sharks was LA's first road contest of the year. The Sharks drilled the Kings 5-1 in the season opener.

Jeff Carter scored two goals and added two assists. Forward Milan Lucic scored his first goal with the Kings.
