T.J. Oshie scores awesome goal from his knees vs. Blackhawks
T.J. Oshie of the St. Louis Blues hasn't exactly been what you'd call a postseason star. In 22 postseason games, Oshie had just two goals entering Friday night's Game 5 against the Chicago Blackhawks.
That's not to say he hadn't contributed to the Blues in this 2-2 series, providing a screen on a few of their goals. But he had yet to tally a point. But in Game 5, he finally hit the scoresheet -- in spectacular fashion:
Oshie's amazing goal tied the game at 1-1, falling to his knees and staying with the play to slide the puck past Corey Crawford at 11:04 of the second period. It was Oshie's first playoff goal since May 6, 2013 against the Los Angeles Kings.
With that, Crawford finally felt what it's like to be the Russian Olympic team ... and "T.J. Sochi" showed he can put on a highlight reel show outside of the shootout.
