Focus is always a concern of any defending champion. The news of Jacoby Jones showing up to training camp out of shape isn't the worst news, but it's not a great sign for the Baltimore Ravens either.

Jones, who scored two long touchdowns in Baltimore's Super Bowl win and then competed on the "Dancing With the Stars" reality TV show this offseason, was put on the non-football injury list because he failed to pass a conditioning test all Ravens players need to pass at the start of camp, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Insert your "Didn't dancing keep him in good enough shape?" jokes here.

This isn't uncommon; a lot of teams have tough conditioning tests at the start of camp. The most likely outcome is Jones passes the test and is back at practice soon. But again, it's not a great sign for a team that has to fight the same distractions all Super Bowl championship teams do.

Jones never developed into a consistent threat during his five seasons with Houston, and had only 406 yards with Baltimore last season before coming up huge in the playoffs. His late 70-yard touchdown against Denver helped keep the Ravens alive, and he had a good argument for the Super Bowl MVP award that went to Joe Flacco. Jones was being counted on to help replace Anquan Boldin, who was traded to the 49ers. He didn't miss any organized team activities this offseason because he was on a dancing reality show, but those are the types of uncommon opportunities that arise after starring in a Super Bowl.

Jones' failed test will blow over soon. The Ravens just need to hope it's in no way a sign of things to come.
