Twitter users were encouraged to ask NCAA president Mark Emmert questions; it didn't go well
NCAA president Mark Emmert made an appearance on ESPN’s Mike & Mike Friday morning and was asked about some of the big issues facing the NCAA and the landscape of college athletics. He touched upon the new rules which allow student-athletes to have unlimited meals and snacks and weighed in on Northwestern’s upcoming unionization vote.
Before his appearance, the Mike & Mike Twitter account encouraged listeners to send questions to Emmert via Twitter using the #AskEmmert hashtag. Predictably, things did not go as planned.

In fact, the hashtag was still trending hours after the show ended.
At first, people hit Emmert with some serious inquiries about his stances and track record to date.
