State College minor league baseball team hosts Bill O’Brien bobblehead night

In April, we learned that Penn State coach Bill O’Brien was getting his own bobblehead.

Now we know when.

The State College Spikes, aClass-A Short-Season affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, will host a “Coach Bill O’Brien Bobble Head Giveaway” on Wednesday for the first 1,500 fans.

Considering how popular O’Brien has become following his first season with the Nittany Lions, these will probably go fast.

So, if you want one, either be prepared to wait in a very long line on Wednesday or check out eBay after the game. Probably a good chance there will be a few up for auction before the Nittany Lions open the season against Syracuse on Saturday.
