Soldier reunites with his family at Georgia Southern game (Video)
Georgia Southern University celebrated Military Appreciation Day on Saturday for its home game against The Citadel at Paulson Stadium in Statesboro.
During a break in the action, three children, whose father had been stationed in Korea, were invited onto the field to record a welcome home video for their father, who was to supposed to return home Sunday. After saying a few words, the three led a Georgia Southern chant before being instructed to turn around, where their father was waiting -– home a day early.
