Miami fans fly another 'Fire Al Golden' banner over Sun Life Stadium (Photo)

Another week, another anti-Al Golden banner at a Miami football game.

Only eight days after a “Make Miami Great Again – Butch Davis 2016” banner flew above Miami’s game at Florida Atlantic, a new banner calling for Golden to lose his job flew above Sun Life Stadium before the Hurricanes’ game against Nebraska.

This one reads: “C’mon, #FireAlGolden. These Banners Are Expensive.”

With this season’s 2-0 start for the Hurricanes, Golden, now in his fifth season, has a 30-22 (16-16 ACC) record and hasn’t won a bowl game during his tenure as Miami’s head coach.

That doesn’t quite meet the lofty standards of the Miami fan base, and some fans have been calling for him to lose his job for quite a few seasons.

Prior to last year’s home game against Cincinnati, a “FIRE AL GOLDEN SAVE THE U” banner flew over Sun Life Stadium.

Maybe a win over Nebraska will put Golden back into the good graces of disgruntled Miami fans.
