Joe Paterno will always have a place in Beaver Stadium thanks to former Penn State fullback Franco Harris.
A cardboard cutout of Paterno holding a sign that read: "Due Process for PSU JVP" was pressed against the window of Harris' suite and overlooked the Penn State crowd and, ultimately, a 24-14 loss to Ohio.
The Paterno family was well represented at the game. Paterno's sons Jay and Scott and even his widow, Sue, all attended. Jay Paterno met with players prior to the game to wish them luck.
