How did your school do among this year's APR scores in football?
Each school's NCAA Academic Progress Rate for 2012-2013 was released on Wednesday. The APR tracks eligibility, progress, retention and graduation of each Division I scholarship player in a formula.
The benchmark multi-year APR score for a team is 930 over four years and 940 over two years. If a team doesn't hit that score, it faces penalties. Oklahoma State's football team lost a day of practice for the upcoming season after its APR score was 929.41 over that span. But since its two-year APR score from 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 was above the threshold, it wasn't banned from the postseason.
Idaho and UNLV can't say the same. Both teams, as previously reported, are facing postseason bans.
Average APR score in FBS and FCS football has increased each of the last three years, but football's multi-year average rate (951) still ranks behind baseball (967) and men's basketball (957), according to the NCAA,
