Houston head coach Tony Levine surprises walk-on (and his mom) with full scholarship (Video)

Houston head coach Tony Levine has been known to show a lighter side, so when it came time to award a walk-on with a scholarship, he had to put his own twist on it.

Levine asked walk-on kicker Kyle Bullard and his mother to meet him in his office. With four hidden cameras set up in the office, Levine brought up the team’s scholarship situation and made it seem like Bullard was not going to be a candidate for a scholarship before hitting him with the good news.

His reaction was priceless. Mom’s too.

Bullard, a junior from Boerne, Texas, took over the Cougars’ starting kicking role midway through the season and finished a perfect 6-of-6 on field goal attempts and hit all 20 extra point attempts as well.

This isn’t the first time Levine has pulled a fast one. He pranked his fan base on April Fools Day the past two years and even showed off his saxophone skills in 2012.
