D-III kicker runs in 2-point conversion after missing PAT (Video)

Rowan kicker Tyler Knighton made up for his bad extra point attempt against Christopher Newport on Saturday.

As you can see from the video below, the game wasn't exactly being played in dry conditions. Knighton's kick barely got any air time and sailed into the back of his offensive line. It stalled as soon as it hit the turf, so like a free throw shooter chasing after his own rebound, Knighton went and got the ball.

It's a bit impossible to describe what happened next, other than it was a giant scrum of 22 players.

Knighton got in for the two-point conversion. The score gave Rowan a five-point lead in the fourth quarter and the team won 14-9.

The play won play of the week in Division III. It's impressive, no doubt, but we're wondering if it's more impressive than the interception that Ithaca's Skyler Kauf had over the weekend. Our initial reaction is that the pick is better. What do you think?
