Bucknell safety Thomas Bodolus delivers the hit of the week (Video)
If you missed the Sacred Heart-Bucknell game on Saturday – and let’s face it, most of us did – then you missed one of the biggest hits of the weekend.
Sacred Heart receiver Robert Dim was tracking a pass across the middle of the field when Bucknell safety Thomas Bodolus laid him out with a vicious hit. It’s tough to tell whether the hit was helmet-to-helmet, but it was assessed a 15-yard penalty (no ejection), probably because it was a hit on a defenseless player.
But give Dim his props. He popped right back up like nothing happened. Of course, he spent the next minute wandering around on the field not knowing exactly what to do before eventually heading to the sideline, but hey buddy, way to be a gamer.
