Wayne Selden's dunk on Baylor was the best of 2016 postseason

The NCAA tournament hasn't even started yet. There are still numerous games remaining in conference tournaments across the nation. Yet, we're pretty sure Wayne Selden Jr.'s dunk in a 70-66 win over Baylor on Friday night won't be topped this postseason.

If someone comes through with something more remarkable, well, we can't wait for that to happen because Selden's ridiculous jam was famous within minutes of it happening in a Big 12 Conference semifinal game against the Bears.

The ball came to Selden after a missed shot from Baylor just under the 11-minute mark in the second half. He dribbled down court and none of the Bears stopped him until it was too late. He took off from about 10 feet away from the basket as Baylor junior Ishmail Wainright attempted to slide into position to take a charge. Selden's right knee made contact with Wainright's upper-chest knocking him to the floor and Selden viciously pounded the ball into the basket above.

Adding to the indignation, Wainright fouled out on the play.

Veteran ESPN play-by-play man Brent Musburger almost lost his mind on the call.

"Oh mercy," Musburger said. "Oh, he gave him a facial. Oh baby, shave and a haircut. You've got to be kidding me. Save the women and children. Holy mackerel."

Meanwhile, television cameras caught Selden's uncle, Anthony, in the stands hysterically losing his mind with an enormous Flavor Flav-style neckless. A stadium usher actually came to check on Selden's uncle who apologized.

In the moments after the game ended, television cameras showed showed reporters already swarming to interview Selden's uncle. Kansas will play for the Big 12 title on Saturday against either Oklahoma or West Virginia.

Selden finished with just 11 points in the game as Kansas' third-leading scorer, but his dunk might have been the catalyst that kept the Jayhawks on task to the final buzzer.
