Dwaun Anderson's massive putback dunk wins game for Wagner

When Wagner's Corey Henson released a potential game-winning 3-pointer on Tuesday night, teammate Dwaun Anderson was about 30 feet from the basket.

Somehow Anderson made up all that ground while the ball was in the air.

With his defender sagging off him to contest Henson's shot, Anderson sprinted to the basket unimpeded and timed his jump perfectly when the ball caromed off the back rim. Anderson grabbed the ball high above the rim with his left hand and dunked it in one motion with 2.6 seconds to go, lifting Wagner to a 65-64 victory over Rider.

Anderson's thunderous dunk extended Wagner's win streak to five in a row and saved the Seahawks from what would have been a disappointing road loss. Rider is now 1-8 with the lone victory coming against a Houston Baptist team that is 324th in the latest KenPom rankings.

Anderson missed all of last season with a foot injury, but the 6-foot-4 former Michigan State transfer has performed well in his return. He is averaging 13.0 points and 6.2 rebounds and he now has one of the most memorable game-winning baskets of the season.
