U.S. Cellular Field’s new menu includes $17 sundae weighing three lbs.

The Chicago White Sox have upped the ante in the food department this season as they are set to introduce some unique food items at U.S. Cellular Field, making their debut on Opening Day, Monday, March 31 when the South Siders take on the Minnesota Twins.

Sportservice -- the official retail and concessions operator for the White Sox -- has created a menu fans are sure to enjoy. The new items, which will be offered on the 100-level and 500-level, include a massive pretzel with three delicious sauces to choose from, a cheeseburger topped with creamy mac-n-cheese infused with bacon bits, and for all those with an incredibly large sweet tooth, make way for the three-pound banana split sundae helmet.

"Providing fans with the best experience possible includes offering a variety of the best ballpark food," said White Sox senior vice president of sales and marketing Brooks Boyer. "We are excited to improve our food offerings at U.S. Cellular Field to offer new, fresh food items to White Sox fans."
