SportsDash: Surgery still not a certainty for Matt Harvey

There aren't many successful precedents for pitchers playing through a partial tear of their ulner collateral ligament, but Matt Harvey isn't giving up just yet. The Mets' ace learned of his injury yesterday, and though the typical path to recovery requires surgery, Harvey said he will do everything in his power to avoid going under the knife.
