Lightning star Steven Stamkos broke his leg after smashing into a goal post on Monday. The center, who has more points than anyone else in the NHL since the 2008-09 season, will miss upwards of four months after surgery on his tibia and his absence will undoubtedly affect the first-place Lightning.
