Rob Gronkowski returns to Patriots' 11-on-11 work for first time

Everyone is buzzing about Rob Gronkowski's return to the practice field and the 11-on-11 practice.

Chris Price joined Sports Tonight to discuss if the Patriots had a hidden agenda by having Gronkowski work out with the team Monday.

"The fact that he was out there today, the last day of availability," said Price. "That makes sure that gets out there. So defensive coordinators from Orchard Park to Miami Gardens now know that Rob Gronkowski is working out in pads, he's running routes, he's looking good.

"He's not there yet, but now this raises the possibility of him starting week one. I just think they wanted that message out there, I don't think it was a coincidence.

Price believes the Patriots are trying to send a message to the league.

"Look, Gronk is ready. Defensive coordinators, you've got to take notice of this guy."
