PFT Live: Peterson’s eagerness for Vick hints at Vikings’ frustration

Vikings GM Rick Spielman has already admitted to PFT Live that the team has absolutely no plans to trade their lone high-profile player in Adrian Peterson. But to keep the running back happy, Mike Florio says the team should acknowledge his proposal to bring Michael Vick to Minnesota.

Peterson tweeted on Wednesday night that Vick “would intently make the Vikings a playoff team,” and Florio interprets this as a sign of frustration. Peterson is clearly looking for help on the offensive side of the ball as he reaches the final years of his prime and Florio admits the running back’s passive-aggressive approach to end the team’s quarterback carousel could ultimately get the job done.
