NIU's Jordan Lynch prepared for anything in NFL draft

Hundreds of dreams will come true over the next few days as the NFL kicks off its draft weekend in New York City.

While most of the focus remains on who will be taken first overall and where Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel will end up, Northern Illinois quarterback Jordan Lynch believes he has something special to offer to the team that brings him in.

"The journey really starts now," Lynch said. "First I want to get my foot in the door and really help the team in anyway possible."

There's a lot of mystery surrounding Lynch's draft stock. Some scouts believe he won't be able to make the transition to being an NFL quarterback, which would force him to switch positions. Regardless, Lynch will be an intriguing player to watch as he takes his talents to the next level.

The legendary NIU  dual-threat quarterback said he will spend draft weekend with around 50 friends and family members back home. Watch the video above to see what some of his family members had to say about Lynch's journey.
