Devin McCourty joined Quick Slants to discuss how the Patriots are preparing to slow down Joe Flacco and the Ravens.
Both Tom E. Curran and McCourty expect Flacco take some shots down the field with deep passes.
"He has one of the strongest arms in the NFL," said McCourty. "I think that mentality of throwing it up there and trying to let my receivers make a play is what gives him the strength to go out there and say, 'you know what, I'm going to let it go.'
Tom E. Curran also points out that Flacco has the right receivers to compliment his game, especially Steve Smith. McCourty agreed.
"It doesn't matter how old he gets, he's still competitive, he's still savvy," explained McCourty. "I think one of the best things he does is catching the ball and then making yards after the catch."
