David de la Cruz abandons his first Tour de France after gruesome fall

After sustaining what appears to be popped front tire, David de la Cruz takes a hard fall that also brings down Sebastian Langeveld.

Though Langeveld escaped the ordeal unscathed, de la Cruz takes the brunt of the blow to his right shoulder, leaving him writhing on the ground in immense pain and eventually causing him to abandon the 2014 Tour, the first of his career.
