Video: A few NBA guys take over the Goodman League

You've seen the Goodman League before, mostly when Kevin Durant(notes) was dominating guys who are probably just happy to have shared a court with Kevin Durant. But if you're not familiar, the Goodman League is a Washington, D.C.-based summer league that often sees NBA guys with D.C. ties get some run in during the summers. A couple weeks ago, Aug. 15 to be exact, the Goodman League hosted its second annual charity game. Donte Greene(notes), Michael Beasley(notes), DeMarcus Cousins(notes) and Ty Lawson(notes) showed up and they just did OK.

See, this is why you don't invite NBA players to your pickup games. They always end up dunking all over the place and making everybody else look bad. Not fair.

Oh, and let's be honest, Michael Beasley's lion-mane hair works. For some reason it makes him look a lot smoother than when he had braids, a misplaced headband or a gigantic blowout. Definite upgrade, even if he does have tiny braided bangs like Rick James.
