Journalist reportedly dressed as a priest to try to get into Michael Schumacher’s hospital room

This is certainly going to great lengths to get a scoop. Though it's too far.

Seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher remains in a Grenoble, France hospital and one journalist reportedly dressed as a priest and tried to get into Schumacher's room. Schumacher remains in a medically induced coma though doctors on Tuesday said that he was doing slightly better.

From the Mirror:

"Apparently a journalist dressed as a priest had tried to gain access to Michael's room," Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm told a reporter from Die Welt .

"I wouldn't have ever imagined something like this could happen."

The man's deception was apparently discovered and was subsequently escorted from the premises.

Had the man's ridiculously deceptive plan worked, he would have gotten some interesting access, though he wouldn't have exactly been able to conduct some official interviews without revealing his profession. And anyway, had anything been published with information gained from the deception, it wouldn't be too hard to trace it. With a star like Schumacher, there aren't too many people going in and out.

Schumacher hit his head while skiing on Sunday at the Maribel Resort and suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. He was wearing a helmet and doctors have said that the helmet kept him alive.
