Red-hot UFC heavyweights Gabriel Gonzaga and Stipe Miocic have verbally agreed to fight one another at the UFC on Fox 10 event taking place January in Chicago, IL according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper. Miocic lives and trains in Cleveland, OH.

"Miocic has reached a verbal agreement to fight Gabriel ‘Napao’ Gonzaga at UFC on Fox January 25 in Chicago, UFC public relations manager Matt Radmanovich confirmed in an email Wednesday night," the Plain Dealer reports.

Miocic has not fought since his surprise win over Roy Nelson in June. He has won four out of his five UFC fights.

Gonzaga has fought four times in 2013 and has won his last two by KO. In 2007, Gonzaga unsuccessfully challenged for the UFC heavyweight title against then champion Randy Couture.
