Rizzo, Daley winners at Impact FC in Australia

No, you didn't step into the DeLorean and go back in time on Saturday. Pedro Rizzo and Ken Shamrock, both pioneers of MMA, did face each other at Impact FC in Sydney, Australia this weekend. To the shock of no one, Rizzo TKOed Shamrock a minute and a half into the fight, inundating Shamrock with kicks and punches.

Paul Daley, in his first bout since cheapshotting Josh Koscheck at UFC 113, won over Daniel Acacio with a third-round verbal submission.

Troubled fighter Paulo Filho struggled to even make weight for his bout with Denis Kang. Things didn't improve for this bout, as Filho and Kang fought to a split draw.

Murilio "Ninja" Rua, brother of UFC champ Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, kept up the family winning streak with a round one guillotine choke of "The Ultimate Fighter" veteran Jeremy May, while another TUF malcontent fared better. Jesse Taylor submitted another MMA pioneer, Murilio Bustamante, with strikes from Bustamante's guard. Bustamante couldn't stand back up when the referee wanted to bring the fighters back to their feet.
