Carlos Condit may have torn meniscus, ACL at UFC 171

MMA Junkie reports that the injuries that stopped Carlos Condit in his co-main event bout with Tyron Woodley Saturday night were a torn meniscus and, possibly, a torn ACL. The outlet communicated with Condit coach Mike Winkeljohn via text message and the striking guru also said that Condit will have MRI scans taken of his knee soon to find out for sure the full extent of his injuries.

Woodley hurt Condit with punches in the first and second rounds well before the former WEC and UFC title holder injured his knee. The American Top Team fighter didn't regret the way the fight ended at all.

"I saw that he was hurt and I went for the finish," Woodley said of capitalizing on Condit's injury, in the post fight press conference.

Condit now faces an uncertain future with his injuries as does, to a lesser extend, Woodley, who did not appear to sew up a title fight with his win over Condit.

Check out highlights of Woodley and more speaking at the post-event presser below.
