One-armed Michigan boys' basketball player unleashes astounding behind-the-back basket

You couldn't come up with a better place for Geno Policicchio to attend high school.

A junior guard for Dearborn (Mich.) Divine Child High, Policicchio pulled off an incredible one-handed play that would be tough for most mortal boys' basketball players. But his effort is made all the more remarkable by the realization that he actually has only one hand (h/t Bob's Blitz).

Reportedly born with a defect that left his right arm without anything past the elbow, Policicchio made this steal, dribbled behind-the-back past one Bloomfield Hills (Mich.) Cranbrook Kingswood defender and finished a layup over another all in one fluid motion. The layup helped secure a 55-51 victory.

Of course, loyal Prep Rally readers will recall Policicchio from the fall, when he emerged as a defensive back for the aptly name school's varsity football team. One arm, two sports. Divine Child, indeed.
