Presidents Cup flashback: Tiger Woods dominates in 2009

It may be tough to remember now, but there was a time when Tiger Woods was the most dominant player in golf. (It's true. We checked.) And while he's had his troubles in match play events, he was dead-bang flawless in the 2009 Presidents Cup at Harding Park Golf Club in San Francisco. The U.S. thumped the internationals, 19½ to 14½, marking the sixth American win in eight gatherings.

The U.S. team, captained by Fred Couples and vice-captained by Michael Jordan, was a mix of old-line stars (Woods, Phil Mickelson, Kenny Perry) and newcomers (Anthony Kim, Lucas Glover, Hunter Mahan). Greg Norman's internationals were even more diverse, ranging from Vijay Singh and Ernie Els to 18-year-old Ryo Ishikawa.

Oh, and this was only about six weeks before a certain one-car accident. We were all so young then, weren't we?
